Hello!!
My name is Kathryn MacPhee and I am the face behind KM Wedding & Event Co. Growing up, I have always had a keen eye for art and design. Mix this with ambition and determination and it has led me to my dream career in Event Planning. My strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and creative imagination ensures that every client receives the wedding or event they have always dreamed of. My past year has been spent planning and executing events at Elegant Productions all over the Maritimes, working with the most amazing clients and vendors!
Prior to joining Elegant Productions, I gained experience as an Event/Wedding Coordinator at the Keltic Lodge Resort and Spa on Cape Breton Island where I developed a talent for meticulous planning, resulting in successfully executing all concepts flawlessly which ensured every client’s wedding day/ event was a truly memorable one.
It gives me great pleasure to design weddings and work with my lovely couples to bring their personality and style into the decor concepts. My process has always been geared towards making the clients vision come to life.
Aside from weddings and events I spend my spare time getting creative, traveling and of course, watching Netflix. Arts and crafts has always been a passion of mine. Over the years I have dabbled in many forms of art, recently I have been focusing my art towards watercolor, acrylic paint, drawing, cake decorating and most recently calligraphy (I still need lots of practice on this one)!
In my spare time, I love to explore. Whether it be a cool location close to home or hopping on a plane and flying to a new destination, traveling has always been a passion of mine. My two favorite locations (so far) are New York City and London, England.
